At QEB we pride ourselves on being able to talk to customer's in straight forward language, without using unnecessary jargon. We believe our ability to see the problem from our customer's perspective is one of our key strengths, and sets us apart from our competitors.

Source Code Availability

When a programmer writes a program s/he creates source code which is usually compiled into a program. If the program subsequently needs to be amended then any programmer with the source code will be able to do this. However without the source code no-one would be able to make any changes.

So it is essential that when the bespoke application is completed that the software house also gives the customer a copy of the source code. At QEB we do this, but many of our competitors keep ownership of this vital resource - to either sell the program on to other companies, or to hold the customer to ransom for any updates they subsequently request.

Software Support

The single most important requirement when buying bespoke software is that the software house is reliable, and is still trading in the future when you need to have an obscure error fixed, or an essential new feature added. Without continued support bespoke software is a time bomb waiting to go off.

Quality Control

QEB have developed many in-house procedures to ensure that all the software we produce is developed to the highest standards, and tested to be as bug free as possible upon delivery. Although we do not have BS5750 / ISO 9000 accreditation we have been audited and approved as suppliers to companies that operate to the above quality standards.
